What will happen if you put a bottle of soda in a hot water?

Nothing. The bottle is strong enough to contain the extra pressure from hot water. You would need to have temperatures high enough to boil the Coke inside the bottle. A glass bottle would shatter: a plastic one (made of Polyethylene terephthalate ) will burst, rather than exploding.
